1. AMRSS Ltd the organisers of Model Rail Scotland are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who provide information relating to the planning and operation of the event.
2. AMRSS Ltd is a registered data user with the Information Commissioner

3. All data supplied will always be treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

4. AMRSS Ltd will not sell, distribute or rent your personal information to third parties for mailing and marketing uses.

5. AMRSS Ltd complies with its obligations under the GDPR legislation by :

  • Keeping personal data up to date

  • By storing and destroying it securely

  • By not collecting or retaining excessive quantities of data

  • By protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure

  • By having in place appropriate retention and administrative processes to protect personal data

6. All data supplied will only be used only for the following purposes;

  • Planning and administering matters relating to the current and subsequent exhibition

  • Publicity and marketing of the current and subsequent exhibition

  • Administration of ticket sales related to the current exhibition

7. Retention of data:

  • All data supplied will be held no longer than is necessary to meet the purpose for which it was obtained set out in Section 5.

  • Information regarding invoicing and other financial matters associated with the planning and operation of the exhibition will be retained for the statutory period relevant to Tax and accounting uses.

8. Under the General Data Protection Regulations, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data;

  • Rectification - the right to request that AMRSS Ltd corrects any personal data found to be inaccurate or out of date

  • Erasure - the right to request your personal data is erased where it is no longer necessary for AMRSS Ltd to retain such data

  • Restriction of processing - the right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time

  • Data portability - the right to have your data sent in a common format, so that it can be moved elsewhere

  • Objection - the right to object to the use of your data for uses that have not been agreed to

10. Changes to Model Rail Scotland Data Protection Policy
The Model Rail Scotland policy in respect of data protection will be amended as when required to ensure it is compliant with current legislation.
