Situated just off the M8 motorway, the SECC is within five minutes
drive of the city centre and 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport. The SECC
has its own railway station and bus terminal linking with Glasgow’s
excellent public transport system.

TRAVELLING BY CAR
The SECC is just off junction 19 of the M8 motorway with on-site
parking available for nearly 3000 vehicles. Disabled drivers should use
Car Park 3, entered from Finnieston Street.

Glasgow’s Central Station is connected with every city in the UK. The
SECC has its own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from
the city centre. Six trains an hour run from Glasgow Central Station bringing the visitor to the SECC front door in 10 minutes.

visitors arriving by air. The First Bus service number 757 linked to
below will be of particular interest to those coming to Model Rail
Scotland. The route provides a good link between the airport and the
SECC (15 min journey) and onwards to the city centre where many
excellent shops, restaurants, and hotels can be found. A route map and
