Glasgow’s Central Station is connected with every city in the UK. The SECC has its own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre. Six trains an hour run from Glasgow Central Station bringing the visitor to the SECC front door in 10 minutes.

The website for Glasgow airport has plenty of useful information for visitors arriving by air.  The First Bus service number 757 linked to below will be of particular interest to those coming to Model Rail Scotland.  The route provides a good link between the airport and the SECC (15 min journey) and onwards to the city centre  where many excellent shops, restaurants, and hotels can be found.  A route map and timetable are available on the First Group site.
