ALTE ZEIT GRUPPE
Alte Zeit Gruppe (AZG), the Historical German railway Group, was founded in 1992 as a focal point for enthusiasts and modellers of German railways of the years 1835-1960. (This is the core period but later period are covered to complete 'stories'. AZG has a world-wide membership.  A newsletter, Zeitung, is published quarterly and the group is a source of information, decals, plates, etc for modellers of German railways.
 
AUSTRIAN RAILWAY GROUP
The society aims to encourage interest in Austrian Railways.  The group has a quarterly journal for members.
 
CALEDONIAN RAILWAY ASSOCIATION
The association was formed in 1983 to provide a focal point for those interested in the Caley it all its forms and activities including locomotives, coaching stock, wagons, signalling and buildings.
 
DIESEL AND ELECTRIC MODELLERS UNITED (DEMU)
DEMU aims to promote modelling the Diesel and Electric era via their quarterly magazine ‘UPDATE’ which features modelling and prototype articles on a wide range of subjects.
 
ELECTRIC RAILWAY SOCIETY
The objects of the Society are to promote interest in and study of all aspects of electric railways and related subjects both in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
 
EM GAUGE SOCIETY
The EMGS is the largest of the Model Railway Societies catering for the needs of modellers in 4mm fine scale railway modelling to EM and P4 gauges irrespective of period modelled.
 
FRIENDS OF THE WEST HIGHLAND LINES SOCIETY
Friends of the West Highland Lines is the Society dedicated to the promotion and development of facilities and services on Britain’s premier scenic railway – The West Highland Lines from Glasgow to Fort William, Mallaig and Oban.
