Limited Edition Wagon 2008 |
At our 2008 exhibition we sold a limited edition OO gauge wagon in the original Kingshill Colliery livery. Kingshill was a pit near Allanton in Lanarkshire owned by Coltness. Coltness was a large company owning both many pits in central Scotland and a large fleet of wagons to deliver their coal around the country. The wagons carried the name of the pit they delivered for, and various colour schemes were used, the Kingshill colour being a vibrant red with white letters.
The 200 wagons were produced by Dapol exclusively for Model Rail Scotland and some were left over after the 2008 exhibition. We are offering these for sale for £8.95 plus p&p costs of £1.50 to UK destinations and £3.00 if overseas.
